A signing ceremony of a series projects worth a total of 900 million yuan ($126.7 million) was held in Shuyuan town in Lin-gang Special Area on May 19.

The projects, which involve integrated circuits, chip research and development, big data cloud computing, and more, are expected to receive a total of 3.4 billion yuan in revenue and 230 million yuan in annual tax revenue by 2025.

The IPv6 innovation demonstration industrial city project, or more specifically, the national next-generation internet super platform, signed a framework agreement with the town.

An IPv6 equipment manufacturing industrial park, IPv6 innovation and application industrial park, and other industrial chains will be included as part of the project and will provide services and industrial support for the development of a new-generation information technology industry in the Lin-gang Special Area.

The projects, which include the Sunway CPU processor industrialization production base, the Lin-gang Yimeng innovation R&D base, and the Yovole Lin-gang big data platform (phase II), all signed production agreements.

According to a Shuyuan town official, these projects are all technologically advanced projects with strong development momentum, that can not only improve the town's academic industry and optimize its industrial structure, but also follow the investment trajectory of Lin-gang Special Area.
