As the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holidays are just around the corner, the tourist attractions in Wuxi, Jiangsu province, have unveiled diverse activities to celebrate.
Yuantouzhu scenic area is set to arrange its annual fireworks displays as expected on Sept 15, Sept 17, Oct 1, Oct 3, and Oct 5.

Lingshan Buddhist scenic spot is set to offer free Lingshan lucky meat pies and a vegetarian culture exhibition during the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, while for the National Day holiday, tourists can enjoy folk performances, parades, and visit bazaars.
Nianhua Bay scenic area is set to provide opera shows about eight major opera genres in China, which are set to be available until the end of October.

Qingming Bridge scenic area is set to arrange a Tang Dynasty (618-907)-themed pop-up show on the night of Sept 15 in front of the China Silk Industry Museum on Nanchang Street, highlighting fortune stick drawings, perfume sachets, sugar paintings, lacquer paintings, and performers dressed as Tang Dynasty people.
Plum Garden is still famous for its lantern shows, which belong to the Wuxi natives' sleepless nights. In addition to colorful and beautiful lanterns, the celebration is set to feature iron flower shows and traditional Chinese dances.
Wuxi Sunac Resort is expected to stage a light show with performers imitating the flying apsaras of the Mogao Grottoes. Visitors are also set to appreciate Tang Dynasty-style parades and dragon dances performed in water.
