Jiangsu Baining Yingchuang Medical Technology Co Ltd – located in Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – recently entered the finals of the 11th Entrepreneurship Jiangsu Technology Entrepreneurship Competition.
Situated in the Taizhou Port Economic Development Zone, the company successfully advanced to the finals with a fourth place gained in the biopharmaceuticals growth group.
Baining Yingchuang Medical Technology focuses on the R&D and commercialization of high-end medical devices related to the perioperative period, which is the period of a patient's surgical procedure. It commonly includes ward admission, anesthesia, surgery, and recovery.
The intraoperative neural monitoring and navigation system the company develops has functions for intraoperative navigation, rapid identification of nerves and the protection of nerves from damage – which can reduce complications and improve the postoperative quality of life of patients.
The system has been co-developed by the company and clinical experts since 2018 through extensive animal experiments and clinical trials.
It has been applied on more than 20 domestic and foreign patents, breaking the long-term monopoly of related core technologies held by international enterprises.
After being held for many years, the competition has now become the largest, highest level and most extensive entrepreneurial brand contest in the province. This year's contest, the 11th edition, was launched in May.
