The Taizhou Port Economic Development Zone has formed a complete transportation system consisting of railroads, highways, waterways and airports, which can provide convenient and fast logistics for the entry and exit of manufactured products.
There are seven airports within 200 kilometers, including Shanghai Pudong International Airport, Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and Nanjing Lukou International Airport.
The zone is close to the Taizhou toll station for the Beijing-Shanghai Expressway (G2), the Dasi exit of the Funing-Liyang Expressway (S35), as well as the exits of the Beijing-Shanghai Expressway and Shanghai-Shaanxi Expressway (G2/G40).
Four high-speed railway stations for the cities of Taizhou, Changzhou, Yangzhou and Zhenjiang can be reached in the province within an hour's drive.
It also has a national first-class open port – Taizhou Port. Furthermore, the zone has opened shipping routes to major ports in China, such as Shanghai Yangshan Port, Shenzhen Yantian Port and Chongqing Port, as well as direct routes to more than 100 countries and regions around the world.
