Taizhou in East China's Jiangsu province has adopted an intelligent delivery machine for local residents to deposit and obtain administrative materials, aiming to offer 24-hour government affairs services.
The move is provided by the city's administrative examination and approval bureau. Those who need to supplement or resubmit materials but cannot make it to the bureau during its opening times can use the self-service machine to submit materials.
The machine is available 24 hours a day, weekends included, thus providing convenience and improving efficiency both for local residents and the bureau.
When receiving materials, the intelligent system will inform relevant staff to collect them. After the approval is completed, the system will send a short message to notify the applicant to get the result's materials.
Applicants can then pick up materials at the 24-hour smart government hall of the bureau at any time with their identity card.
