Founded in 1991, the Taixing Economic Development Zone, located in Taixing city, East China's Jiangsu province, was one of the first 13 provincial-level development zones in the province and also one of the earliest professional fine chemical industrial parks in the country.
In recent years, the zone has remained on course with its high-end, refined, circular, green and international development.
Focusing on themes of innovation transformation, green development and energy utilization enhancement, it has steadfastly advanced the integrated development of the port, industry and the city.
Moreover, the zone has been ranked among the top 10 chemical industrial parks in the country for 11 consecutive years.
In addition, it is accelerating the construction of a modern industrial system supported by fine chemicals, led by new materials, daily chemicals and guaranteed by modern service industries.
Chlor alkali, olefins, pharmaceuticals, daily chemical products and other industrial clusters have now been introduced into the region.
The zone boasts a national first-class open port named Taixing Port, which can accommodate 150,000-metric-ton vessels 24/7 and widely regarded as being the most well-equipped and fully functional chemical product import and export base in China.
