Three investment projects in Taixing city, located in East China's Jiangsu province, have been included on a list of major foreign investment projects by the Ministry of Commerce.
Among them is a production plant being developed by SNF, a global industry leader in water-soluble polymers, for dry strength agents, adhesives, defoamers, adhesives and mold release agents. These are used to enhance product performance, technological value and environmental protection in the paper and printing industry.
Meanwhile, a plant with a projected annual production of 68,500 metric tons of high-performance sealing and bonding materials, being funded by Belgium-based Soudal Group, is also on the ministry's list.
Construction is underway, with the project expected to be completed by 2025.
Another project on the list is being operated by CINIC (Taixing). It is an expansion project projected to produce 8,500 tons of high-color fastness and high-performance organic pigments annually. This involves the construction of a production facility that employs pressurization, filtration, drying, grinding and other processes. The project is in the construction phase.
In order to support foreign investment, the Ministry of Commerce, together with local authorities, has established a list of key foreign investment projects in various regions.
These are mainly in key development industries, including high-end manufacturing and high-tech sectors.
