The Taixing Economic Development Zone, located in Taixing city, East China's Jiangsu province, has established an enterprise security management mutual assistance alliance to help businesses improve safe production and management.
The alliance, which started operating in May, allows companies to join without paying membership fees. Currently, there are 96 member enterprises.
Recently, the zone's chemical coatings manufacturers underwent a special safety inspection, with those in the inspection team hailing from members of the alliance operating in the sector.
"This mutual inspection activity has provided us with a great platform for business communications, " said Yang Zhibo, safety director of Runtai Chemical (Taixing), adding that hidden dangers can often be discovered from peers.

To further enhance staff safety awareness, the alliance has organized a series of safety production month activities and emergency rescue skills competitions, among other things.
Moving ahead, plans are for the zone to extend its enterprise security informatization, using AI video analysis and real-time supervision of major hazard sources, special operations and other processes.
