Its superlative performance in TG enzymes has carved itself out a domestic market share of over 60 percent and a foreign market share that exceeds a whopping 30 percent.
The TG enzyme is a green and healthy biological fermentation enzyme preparation that can endow food with unique texture and taste. More importantly, the use of TG enzymes can reduce the amount of food additives, meeting increasing consumer demand for food safety and transparency.

In its path to growth, Dongsheng Biotech has established long-term strategic partnerships with many leading Chinese food processing manufacturers, paving the way for it to become one of the leading enterprises in biological fermentation enzyme preparations.
As such, it has attached great importance to research, development and innovation. The annual R&D budget of the company accounts for over 9 percent of its total budget and it continues to grow at an annual rate of over 30 percent.

Since 2010, Dongsheng Biotech has established "R&D docks" in East China's Shanghai and other places, which are committed to attracting and nurturing top-flight people.
In 2023, it has invested over 30 million yuan ($4.22 million) in purchasing advanced imported testing and R&D equipment to deepen its basic and applied research.
To date, the company has obtained 51 invention patent authorizations.
