Focusing on the goal of "efficiently accomplishing one thing", the convenience service center in Huangqiao town – located in Taixing city, East China's Jiangsu province – is improving its municipal services for locals.
There are now four general practice windows and two comprehensive windows operating in the convenience service center.
They've all achieved handling one task at a time, realizing an average reduction of 57 percent in processing times, steps, materials and running times.
The convenience service center is currently promoting the transformation of online government services, which are expected to resolve the problems of storing large amounts of paper materials and failures to complete tasks due to missing materials.
"I forgot to bring my paper business license and I thought the business couldn't be processed this time, but I was surprised to find that I can present my electronic business license through an official supervision registration app to smoothly handle the business," said local Huang Yi.
Looking ahead, plans are for the town's convenience service center to continue to innovate the way municipal services are provided and to improve the quality and efficiency of government services, thereby enhancing the experience of locals in handling their affairs and optimizing the government environment.
