The Party working committee of the Taixing Huangqiao Economic Development Zone – located in Taixing city, in East China's Jiangsu province – recently joined forces with Nanjing Tech University.
It signed an innovation alliance agreement with the Party committee of the College of Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Engineering, at Nanjing Tech University – based in Nanjing city, also in Jiangsu – on June 21.
College Dean Gao Zhen led a delegation that visited companies in the Taixing Huangqiao EDZ, including Taixing Dongsheng Biotechnology Co Ltd and Jiangsu Zhongyi Environmental Technology Co Ltd.
He praised the performance of the enterprises in automation, digitization and technology research and development.
Gao said that his college would leverage its competitive advantages in innovation and personnel to foster university-enterprise integrated development using a number of different models.
Cui Zhen, deputy director of the zone's management committee, said it would boost its cooperation through such methods as event collaboration, personnel training and resource sharing.
