A special industry-university research exchange was held on March 29 by the Taixing Huangqiao Economic Development Zone – located in Taixing city in East China's Jiangsu province – and the school of materials science and engineering at Changzhou University, in Changzhou city in the province.
The two are joining hands to advance the commercialization and application of scientific research achievements, in a bid to inject fresh impetus into the sustained development of the regional economy.
The zone arranged for 11 of its resident enterprises to promote their prowess at the event, especially in the new materials industry and in intelligent manufacturing.
Recruiting was also conducted and the zone's enterprises received over 100 resumes from graduates.
In addition, the school signed a training base agreement with two companies based in the Taixing Huangqiao EDZ: Rongchang Composite Materials (Taixing) Co Ltd and Jiangsu Hengfeng New Material Co Ltd.
