A food processing plant that is settling in the Taixing Huangqiao Economic Development Zone – in Taixing city, in East China's Jiangsu province – was recently recognized for its importance at the provincial level.
Operated by Taixing Meijiayi Food Co Ltd, the new plant – which was designated as a demonstration project for 2023 Jiangsu Province Agricultural and Rural Major Project Construction – is projected to create a fresh food supply chain.
It will integrate pastry research and development, production, semi-finished pastry products and agricultural and sideline product cold chain warehousing and transportation – as well as a standardized and intelligent cold chain cloud warehouse.
With a total investment topping 50 million yuan ($6.93 million), the plant has completed construction of its main buildings and cold storage facility, with a purification workshop currently undergoing fitting and decoration.
Founded in 2012, the company is mainly engaged in midpoint and pastry processing, production, sales and research and development. It's an original equipment manufacturer, or OEM, with daily production reaching 1.5 metric tons.
