The policies now in place for reforms and opening up are providing unlimited possibilities for the development of businesses, said Li Guozhong, founder of manufacturer Jiangsu Ninesky Optoelectronics Technology Co Ltd.
The company – which in 2013 settled in Huangqiao town in Taixing city, in East China's Jiangsu province – mainly produces steel plastic composite belts.
It says it's the only enterprise in China that has a complete process flow from rolling to laminating and cutting to produce wide steel plastic composite strips.
With the development of the national reform and opening-up policy, Li Guozhong later founded two other enterprises – Jiangsu Sunpower Co Ltd and Jiangsu Dongfang Ninesky New Energy Materials Co Ltd.
Considering the high thresholds for a stock market listing, Li embarked on the path of capital expansion through mergers and acquisitions. Having a listed company later as a "backup" helped Li resolve issues such as insufficient funds, high loan interest rates and other problems.
At present, the production and operations of the group, as well as the construction of new factories, are going ahead smoothly, Li said.
At full capacity, annual production of 80,000 metric tons of specialized steel and aluminum plastic composite materials for communications optical cables can be realized.
The annual production of LED specialized precision steel strips, small variety steel strips and special quality steel strips is projected to reach 60,000 tons – while that for the shells of lithium batteries will hit 30,000 tons.
