Global biopharmaceutical leader launches innovation center in Taicang
On Oct 9, the Revvity Innovation Center was officially launched in the Taicang High-Tech Industrial Development Zone in Suzhou, Jiangsu province, marking a significant milestone in Revvity's expansion in China.

The Innovation Center integrates research and development, production, training, and public services, spanning fields such as multi-omics, cell biology, and plant biology. In addition to its focus on traditional life sciences, the center will also cater to emerging markets like biological breeding and bio-agriculture.
Xu Huadong, mayor of Taicang, emphasized that the biopharmaceutical industry is one of Taicang's key sectors, with over 500 related companies now operating in the city. He highlighted that the Revvity Innovation Center will significantly enhance both the group's businesses and the city's biopharmaceutical industry. Xu reaffirmed Taicang's commitment to providing top-tier services and creating a first-class business environment for companies.
Prahlad Singh, chief executive officer of Revvity, expressed his gratitude for the Taicang government's support. He said that the collaboration between Revvity and Taicang has driven numerous technological innovations, with the Taicang base playing an increasingly vital role in the research and testing of new products. Singh noted that Taicang is a key area for Revvity's growth, and that the company looks forward to deepening its partnership with the city to support its expansion in China and globally.
Revvity is a leader in life sciences and diagnostics, and its Taicang base is one of the largest in vitro diagnostic reagent manufacturers in Jiangsu province. The facility also serves as a world-class manufacturing hub for the company.
