Taicang High-Tech Industrial Development Zone

Established in September 2018, Taicang High-Tech Industrial Development Zone covers 116.74 square kilometers and has a permanent population of 350,000.
The zone, which has received national recognition for its efforts in technological innovation and intelligent manufacturing, has been endeavoring to bolster its auto spare parts, aerospace, and biomedicine industries in recent years.
A large number of foreign companies like Nike, Schaeffler, and United Automotive Electronic Systems have established facilities in the zone. It is also currently home to more than 420 German enterprises.
The zone achieved a general public budget revenue of 10.18 billion yuan ($1.48 billion) and the output of industrial enterprises above designated size amounted to 121.06 billion yuan in 2022.
The zone is also seizing strategic opportunities, including the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region, to improve its comprehensive strength.
