Taicang, Suzhou, Jiangsu province hosted the German Enterprises in Taicang event on May 27, welcoming a delegation from Entrepreneur Media GmbH led by Brigitte Zypries, former German federal minister for economic affairs and energy.

Addressing event attendees, Wang Xiangyuan, Party chief of Taicang, highlighted that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Germany. He stated that it also marks the beginning of the next 30 golden years of cooperation between Taicang and Germany.

Wang pledged that Taicang will intensify efforts to promote comprehensive economic and trade cooperation with Germany, enhance the integration of local private enterprises with German companies, and encourage more Taicang businesses to invest in Germany.

Zypries praised the achievements of Taicang's cooperation with Germany, especially the successful implementation of the dual education system, which has cultivated a large number of skilled professionals for German enterprises. She remarked that for German companies, Taicang truly feels like a "home away from home".

During their visit, Zypries and her delegation will tour the Taicang Sino-German Cooperation Exhibition Center and the dual education exhibition hall at the Suzhou Chien-Shiung Institute of Technology to gain deeper insights into Taicang's collaborative achievements and business environment.

Entrepreneur Media GmbH is a major professional publishing house. Its flagship publication, unternehmermagazin, is led by Zypries and boasts nearly 1 million copies per issue, making it the most widely circulated business magazine in Germany with significant influence among German entrepreneurs.
