Schmalz to build manufacturing facility in Taicang

Schmalz plans to establish a manufacturing factory in Taicang, Jiangsu province in the next two years, according to the Managing Director of J. Schmalz GmbH Andreas Beutel.
Beutel made the remark during his recent meeting with Shen Mi, secretary of the CPC Taicang Municipal Party Committee.
He said that over the past few years, Schmalz has looked for a proper place to invest, and Taicang's favorable business climate attracts them.
They were also impressed by local residents' hospitality and enthusiasm for work, according to Beutel.
Shen Mi said that Taicang is renowned as being the hometown of German companies in China and to date more than 300 German companies have settled down in the city.
Shen promised to offer Schmalz all-around services and support during their facility's construction and operation in the Chinese city.
