The second Yangtze River Delta Young Scientists Forum and the 2023 Shanghai Jiading Elite Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week kicked off in Jiading district, Shanghai, on Nov 17.
This year's event featured 98 talent, science and technology, and industries-themed activities, which aimed to promote the exchange of ideas and the development of breakthrough innovations. The events also offered talent introduction, investment attraction, and project incubation opportunities.
The event was attended by outstanding young scientists from the Yangtze River Delta, experts and elites from various fields in Jiading, leaders of universities and research institutes in the region, representatives of various innovation and entrepreneurship carriers, enterprises, and HR alliance members, talent work supervisors, and talent service commissioners.
During the opening ceremony, local government officials said the annual event serves as an exchange platform for innovation and entrepreneurship talents at home and abroad. Its main goal is to attract talents and promote dialogue between various parties involved in cutting-edge fields.
The appointment ceremony of the Council of the Yangtze River Delta Young Scientist Alliance, the certificate-awarding ceremony for representatives of outstanding talents and leading talents in Jiading, and ceremony recognizing 20 local enterprises for their remarkable achievements in talent introduction, cultivation, utilization, and retention were held during the week.
The inauguration ceremony of four service stations that will support and motivate young scientific and technological talents, a signing ceremony for eight innovation projects and a ceremony to foster collaboration between various organizations were also held.
