Shanghai's Jiading district recently formed a team comprising over 500 personnel whom will attract high-quality investments to Jiading at the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE), which is scheduled to take place in Shanghai from Nov 5 to 10.
According to the team members, their main goal is not only to attract exhibitors and investment, but also to showcase Jiading's business potential and promote the district to the world.
Shen Chao, an employee of the Shanghai Tongji Economic Park Development Co Ltd, said that his job involves conducting extensive research on potential businesses that are aligned with Jiading's industrial orientation, and providing tailored services and information about Jiading's new policies to exhibitors.
Xu Xiaofeng, an investment promotion personnel responsible for attracting investment in the automobile industry, shared his strategies for success - understanding the needs of enterprises, staying updated on policy information, maintaining open communication with enterprises, forming partnerships, and showcasing perseverance, enthusiasm, and patience.
Wang Xingyu, a newcomer to the investment promotion team, emphasized the importance of grasping potential "hot spots" in the market to unleash economic vitality. In preparation for the CIIE, she has conducted extensive market research into online new economy industries such as artificial intelligence and intelligent manufacturing, which she believes has great development potential.
Last year, the Jiading District Investment Promotion Center successfully connected 643 enterprises and exhibitors during the 5th CIIE. This year, it is planning to inspect and visit routes to further enhance Jiading's brand awareness and showcase its urban heritage and ecological resources.
