Shanghai's Jiading district and Chinese e-commerce giant JD signed a strategic cooperation agreement on July 26 to enhance collaboration and explore a government-enterprise cooperation model.
The agreement also demonstrated both parties' commitment to fostering economic and social development through innovative collaborations, as well as the integration of digital technologies across industries.
Officials at the signing ceremony expressed their optimism for the partnership and their intention to expand areas of cooperation. The aim is to promote the intelligent transformation of the industrial chain, support the real economy, and facilitate the digital transformation of enterprises. The collaboration also seeks to enhance consumption scale and quality, stimulate digital consumption, and contribute to rural vitalization.
Vice President of JD, Wang Guanzhi, described the agreement as a significant milestone.
