Creativity park in Jiading boosts copyright creation, protection

( ) 2023-03-27

Recently, the Zhongguang Creativity Industrial Park in Shanghai's Jiading Industrial Zone received the "2022 Shanghai Copyright Optimization Park (Base)" from the Shanghai copyright administration.

The park was established in 2007 and adopts a market-oriented approach, gathers resources based on the agglomeration of industrial chains, promotes the expansion and brand image of well-known Chinese advertising companies and aims to build itself into one of the world's leading creative and technological industrial parks.

The park has built a service station to protect the legitimate rights and interests of copyright owners, enhance the creation and publicity of works and boost the healthy development of the copyright industry.

The station provides enterprises with intellectual property (IP) consultation and guidance and offers other quick services through platforms such as hotlines and WeChat. It also provides professional consulting agencies to guide enterprises to improve copyright management and establish a mechanism for IP dispute mediation. Display cabinets for copyright works and an exhibition wall for enterprises have also been set up in the service station.

To date, the station has served more than 2,600 enterprises in the Jiading Industrial Zone.

As a national advertising industrial park, Zhongguang Creativity Industrial Park has incubated a group of high-quality copyright enterprises that are represented by Zhaogang, which is a leading digital B2B platform in China, the streaming platform iQiyi, Guantsi, and Zmeng. As of August 2022, the total number of enterprises' copyright registrations in the park reached nearly 1,000.

The park plans to continue to play a leading role in promoting the creation, application, protection and service for copyrights and accelerate the construction of a socialist modern international metropolis with a profound influence.
