( english.jiading.gov.cn ) 2023-03-20

The second edition of Coffee Culture Festival is scheduled to take place from April 28 to May 3 in Xiyunlou, which is a commercial street located in Jiading district in Shanghai. The event aims to smooth all links of the coffee industry chain, integrate it and spread coffee culture.

In recent years, Jiading has become popular among international trade entrepreneurs in the coffee industry due to the booming coffee culture. Such coffee brands as Yongpu, Mingqian, Aluma, and Cabo, which were founded in Jiading, are now popular throughout Shanghai.

"Last year, the first edition of coffee festival received much attention, introducing many people to various coffee brands. Therefore, the second one will be a party of old friends and we hope it can attract more new friends," said Wang Ting, manager of the planning department of Xiyunlou.

"This year's coffee culture festival plans to connect various market entities. Meanwhile, more activities are to be held such as coffee tasting and coffee story sharing to strengthen experience exchange, smooth the industrial chain and enhance the overall strength of the coffee industry in Jading," she added.
