Covering a total area of about 15,000 square meters, Jialong 388 Plaza, which is located in north Jiading, was opened on Dec 27. Serving as a three-storey commercial complex, the plaza currently provides 430 parking spaces free of charge, and is expected to bring great convenience to local residents.
With a large number of shops, including the C-store convenience store, having already been opened, many popular chain stores such as Starbucks and Domino's Pizza are under construction. It is worth mentioning that the newly opened Shangyou Supermarket is the largest supermarket in the neighborhood that sells fresh food.
Presently, the investment promotion work of the plaza has progressed more than halfway, and the stores will be divided into different sectors according to the service they provide. The first floor is for convenient shopping, the second floor is mainly for children's education and the third floor is for recreational facilities for all age groups.
As the stores are to be opened one after another, the plaza is expected to also serve as a center for community life that integrates shopping, education and dinning. In addition to providing necessities for residents living in the 17 nearby communities, the plaza intends to inject commercial vitality into the northern part of Jiading's industrial park by making life for employees in more than 2,000 enterprises easier.
