A double-sized curved LED display ring screen, which was made by Jiading district-based Linso Technology, showcases the beauty of Shanghai at the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center.
Four double-sided curved screens that can rotate 360 degrees and be moved up and down make up the huge display system. Each screen measures 12 meters long by 3.3 m wide, and weighs around four tons.
Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Center is the first professional exhibition center in China that focuses on urban planning and urban development, and has been opened for 20 years.
This exhibition aims to build an intelligent exhibition and adopts new technologies to showcase Shanghai as a city of humanity, innovation and ecology.
"We were excited to take this job, but were also under pressure because we had to overcome many technological difficulties," said Luo Fei, project manager of Linso Technology.
"We have specially developed a full set of ring mechanical operation systems and a lifting set to ensure smooth rotation and control the noise below 55 decibels, thus, to guarantee the best exhibition for the audience," Luo added.
Linso Technology is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Leyard Group, a globally leading pioneer in audio and visual technology that was established in 1995.
