New hospital branch opens in Ejine Banner, Alshaa League

The new campus of the Ejine Banner Mongolian Medicine Hospital in Alshaa League, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, officially opened on July 22.

The new facility is on a site covering 11,820 square meters, with the multi-level building boasting a floor space of 8,843 sq m. It has 100 beds, offering a well-equipped and an especially designed environment for optimal patient care.

The hospital features six functional departments and 13 clinical and technical departments staffed by 95 employees, including 76 healthcare professionals. The medical team comprises doctors and graduates specializing in Mongolian medicine.

The new hospital has invested 19 million yuan ($2.6 million) in medical equipment, including a 64-slice 128-layer high-end spiral CT scanner and a Philips ceiling-mounted digital radiography or DR system.

It also has a Neusoft mobile DR machine, a small C-arm digital flat-panel X-ray machine, dental panoramic digital X-ray machine, rehabilitation training equipment, a hydrotherapy bath machine and fumigation therapy apparatus.

Additionally, experts from the Alshaa League Central Hospital and Alshaa League Mongolian Medicine Hospital have been invited to provide consultations – enabling patients to receive expert medical services locally.

The experts will also conduct academic exchanges and other medical activities during their visits.

The hospital is offering free consultations, blood pressure measurements and waived registration fees – further enhancing community healthcare access.
