China-Europe Railway Express trains surpass 2,000 via Ereenhot this year
On July 29 at 11:16 am, a China-Europe Railway Express train, laden with 55 forty-foot containers, departed from the Ereenhot Railway Port in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.
The train was the 2,010th China-Europe Railway Express train to pass through the port this year, surpassing the 2,000-train threshold 21 days earlier than last year.
According to the China Railway Hohhot Group Co, the Ereenhot Railway Port currently operates 71 China-Europe Railway Express routes that connect 72 stations or cities in 12 countries. Domestically, these routes connect 64 cities in 24 provinces and municipalities.
To ensure the efficient operation of the China-Europe Railway Express, the Ereenhot Railway Port has collaborated with customs authorities to establish a green channel for these trains. They have implemented a "one-stop" service window and a "7×24 hour" appointment clearance service.
Additionally, in cooperation with the Zamyn-Uud station in Mongolia, they have adopted an integrated "two-station" transportation organization model.
This model allows for the sharing of train departure and arrival schedules, enabling precise train operation planning and significantly enhancing the efficiency and convenience of the entire customs clearance process for the China-Europe Railway Express.
