The Inner Mongolia edition of the sixth "China Innovation Wings" Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition concluded in Xiliin Gol League, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on July 6.

Titled "Innovating in the New Era, Fulfilling the Chinese Dream Together," the competition aimed to encourage independent innovation, nurture new quality productive forces, and drive high-quality entrepreneurship that leads to high-quality employment.

The competition adopted a "2+3" model, consisting of two main competitions focusing on advanced manufacturing and modern services, as well as three special competitions dedicated to rural vitalization, the silver economy, and green economy.

The top two projects from the main competitions and the top project from the special competitions will represent Inner Mongolia in the national competition.

The event showcased a diverse array of entrepreneurial endeavors by a wide range of demographics, ranging from students to retired military personnel, and included touching stories of rural entrepreneurs leading their communities out of poverty and vulnerable groups empowering themselves through entrepreneurship.

The projects included not just high-tech innovations in areas like the internet, artificial intelligence, and modern agriculture but also focused on cultural creativity, traditional craftsmanship preservation, and the integration of culture and tourism.

Since its launch in April, a total of 414 entrepreneurial projects participated in the competition, with 142 projects eventually making it to the regional selection.

The competition provided a platform for entrepreneurs to showcase their work, further igniting entrepreneurial vigor and driving the commercialization and application of scientific and technological achievements.
