The second session of the 14th Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional People's Congress successfully concluded in Hohhot on the afternoon of Feb 2.

The 14th Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional People's Congress currently consists of 540 deputies. A total of 524 deputies attended the session, meeting the statutory requirements.

During the session, resolutions were deliberated and passed on various key matters, including the government work report, the execution of the national economic and social development plan for 2023, and the subsequent draft plan for 2024. Inner Mongolia’s budget execution for 2023 was also discussed, along with the tentative budget for 2024. Other topics on the session agenda involved the work reports of the Standing Committee of the 14th Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional People's Congress, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional People's Procuratorate, and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Higher People's Court.

Furthermore, the congress deliberated and passed a decision regarding the amendment of the "Legislation Law of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region People's Congress and its Standing Committee".
