CPPCC Inner Mongolia Committee receives 1,104 proposals
As of 12:00 pm on Jan 31, the second session of the 13th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Committee received a total of 1,104 proposals, with 934 proposals being accepted for review.
Among the accepted proposals, 687 were put forward both individually and jointly by current members, accounting for 73.6 percent of the total.
The proposals revolved around various key aspects: 148 proposals were focused on assisting in the construction of an important ecological security barrier in northern China; 103 proposals aimed at contributing to the construction of a security and stability barrier in the northern border areas of the country; and 106 proposals, covered various other aspects.
Following the conclusion of the session, the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Committee will convene a joint proposal assignment meeting with the CPC Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Committee and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Regional Government to distribute the proposals to the relevant departments for processing.
Proposals received after the deadline for this conference will be reviewed and handled in a timely manner as part of routine proposal work.
