The inaugural China (Inner Mongolia) Hydrogen Energy Forum and Technology Application Exhibition took place in Hohhot, capital city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on May 16.

This event proved to be a significant milestone in the region's pursuit of sustainable energy solutions, as it witnessed the signing of five hydrogen projects worth 18.5 billion yuan ($2.66 billion).

Under the theme of "Inner Mongolia takes the lead in green energy and zero carbon," this year's forum and exhibition attracted participation from over 40 enterprises engaged in various aspects of the hydrogen energy chain. Distinguished names in the industry, such as Kokelir Jingli, CIMC ENRIC, Guohong Hydrogen Energy, H-Power Energy Solutions, and Grover, showcased their cutting-edge products, and innovative technologies in hydrogen production, storage, transportation, refueling, fuel cell systems, fuel cell stacks, and fuel cell vehicles.

At the forum, a significant development took place with the official unveiling of the Inner Mongolia Hydrogen Energy Industry Association. This association aims to be a vital link for facilitating the exchange of talent, funding, and resources. Moreover, it seeks to establish a robust communication and cooperation platform, fostering collaboration among government, enterprises, and academic institutions.

By forging deep partnerships with outstanding companies and fellow industries, the association envisions propelling the growth of the hydrogen energy industry in Inner Mongolia. The ultimate goal is to transform the region into a pioneering demonstration area for hydrogen energy technology and innovation, with a significant national influence.

The Inner Mongolia Federation of Industry and Commerce, Inner Mongolia Hydrogen Energy Industry Association, Inner Mongolia Zhenghe Hydrogen Energy Research Institute, and Inner Mongolia Xianhong Technology Co. jointly organized the successful forum and exhibition.
