If you talk about traveling in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, the images that spring to mind first are the glorious, expansive grasslands.

But in addition to unforgettable grasslands such as the Hulunbuir Grassland and the Xiliin Gol Grassland, it also has lush forests.

With the coming of the autumn, the Moridaga National Forest Park under the jurisdiction of Ergune city has become a must-see destination for its extraordinary and splendid autumnal scenery.

The park covers a total area of 578,000 hectares and is part of the Greater Hinggan Mountains.

It is adjacent to the Hulunbuir Grassland to the south and the Ergune River to the north. It is currently the largest forested park in China and the last area of bright coniferous leaf primeval forest in the cold temperate zone in the country.

From September to early October every year is the best season to visit, when the leaves begin to change color and the whole park is transformed by a mesmerizing range of rich hues.
