Inner Mongolia's fixed asset investment up 35.7%

In the first four months of the year, fixed asset investment in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region surged 35.7 percent from the same period of last year, according to information from the region's statistics bureau.

Investment in the region's primary industry increased 62.8 percent year-on-year, 27.1 percentage points higher than overall investment growth; investment in the secondary industry increased 49.4 percent year-on-year, accounting for 72.4 percent of total investment growth; and investment in the tertiary industry increased 17.7 percent year-on-year.

In the same period, the region's manufacturing investment increased 57.6 percent year-on-year, 21.9 percentage points higher than overall investment growth; high-tech industry investment increased by 117 percent, high-tech manufacturing investment increased by 185.6 percent; and high-tech service industry investment increased by 63.8 percent.

The region's private investment increased 39.7 percent year-on-year, 4.0 percentage points higher than overall investment growth and accounting for 64.9 percent of all investment growth.

Moreover, the region's infrastructure investment increased 48.1 percent year-on-year, 12.4 percentage points higher than overall investment growth and accounting for 41.5 percent of all investment.
