Inner Mongolia registers 350,800 business entities in 2021

In the first 11 months of this year, 350,800 new business entities were registered in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

The result was announced at a news conference on improving Inner Mongolia's business environment, in its capital city of Hohhot on Dec 15.

Among the newly registered business entities were 83,400 enterprises and 263,700 individual industrial and commercial households, bringing the total number of various types of business entities in Inner Mongolia – from single online traders at home to major corporations – to 2.38 million, an increase of 5.32 percent year-on-year.

Meanwhile, the total registered capital of market entities in the region reached 6.28 trillion yuan (0.94 trillion), an increase of 9.23 percent year-on-year.

The largest increase in the numbers was in private enterprises, which increased from 440,700 at the end of November 2020 to 482,400 in November 2021, a net increase of 41,700 enterprises and a year-on-year increase of 9.47 percent.
