National People’s Congress deputies from North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region to the third session of the 13th National People’s Congress held a plenary meeting in Beijing on the afternoon of May 21, according to NPC officials.

The meeting reviewed the draft list of the presidium and secretary-general of the third session of the 13th National People's Congress, the draft agenda of the third session, as well as conveyed the intentions of the convener of the NPC deputy delegation.

The meeting demanded that all the NPC deputies raise their political awareness and insist on carefully considering vital issues from political work to the overall situation in the autonomous region.

Meanwhile, the deputies voted to make the suggestions on the establishment of a national ecological civilization pilot zone, adding the replenishment of a special channel for the Wuliangsuhai ecological restoration project as a national key project, to the third session of the 13th National People’s Congress.
