China-Mongolia-Russia Business Summit held in Hohhot

The China-Mongolia-Russia Summit was held on Sept 26 at the Shangri-La Hotel in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

The summit was jointly organzised by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Mongolia Chamber of Commerce, Buryat Republic’s Business Chamber and the government of Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

"China, Mongolia and Russia are friendly neighbors, and the three countries have reached many consensuses in deepening regional cooperation," said Chang Yunzheng, vice-chairman of the Inner Mongolia autonomous region. "The three countries complement each other in resources and market, and have huge opportunities in regional cooperation," he said. 

"China-Mongolia-Russia economic corridor" is an important part of the Belt and Road Initiative, Inner Mongolia will actively promote the political, economic and cultural communication for the three countries," he said.

"Cooperation will make us understand each other and trust each other," said a Mongolian delegate. "We will expand our cooperation fields from economy to tourism, culture, education, and art," the delegate said.

A Russian delegate was hopeful that the three parties will take this opportunity to establish a much wider relationship.
