Race to make camel nose pegs, halters
Nose pegs and halters are small but vital pieces of equipment for herders to rein in and tame camels. Herders recently got the chance to showcase this old convention at a demonstration to observe Urad Banner’s Camel Naadam Festival. Sponsors of the activity hoped to impress visitors with regionally distinctive camel customs.
