Internet-based foods supply gets popularity in Hohhot
An Internet-based vegetables supply platform is getting popular in Hohhot, capital of North China’s autonomous region.
Started in July by a local technology company, it’s the first such service in Hohhot to integrate procedures from planting to delivery. Users can order through a website, WeChat or mobile client, and the service supplier will produce, package and deliver the fresh vegetables to them.
The service also includes a food quality traceability and information system, which makes information on the vegetables’ planting, processing, packaging and delivery available to consumers.
To date, the service is cooperating with 50 food producers and vegetables cooperatives , providing vegetables to over 20,000 local families every day.
