Anji bamboo products gain attention during Zhejiang's two sessions
As Zhejiang province's two sessions commence in Hangzhou, a special exhibition themed "Bamboo as a Substitute for Plastic" was held on Jan 13. The event was organized by the Zhejiang Provincial Forestry Bureau in collaboration with the Anji county forestry bureau.
This year's two sessions refer to the fourth session of the 14th Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress, the legislative body, and the fourth session of the 13th Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the political advisory body.
Anji county in Huzhou, Zhejiang province, known as the birthplace of China's green development philosophy that holds "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets", is committed to green, sustainable development.
Leveraging its abundant bamboo resources, the county has launched the "Bamboo as a Substitute for Plastic" initiative to promote bamboo as an eco-friendly alternative to plastic.

These products spanned eight categories, such as disposable bamboo items, bamboo fibers, bamboo panels, bamboo hotel supplies, and bamboo camping gear, drawing significant attention from delegates and committee members.
