The Huzhou Grand Theater in Huzhou, Zhejiang province, became a spectacle of lights and melodies as the 2025 Huzhou New Year Concert unfolded on the evening of Dec 30.

Huzhou municipal leaders and representatives from various sectors gathered to join the fun, welcoming the new year with joy.

Star of the night was the Jiangsu Symphony Orchestra, with conductor Chang Chang leading the ensemble.

The concert started at 7:00 pm with the vibrant Spring Festival Overture, followed by captivating renditions of classics like Hungarian Dance and vocal solos including I Love You, China. Each piece enthralled the audience, sparking warm applause after every performance.

Lasting over two hours, the concert concluded amid the upbeat notes of Radetzky Marsch and resounding applause. Residents expressed gratitude for the enchanting performances that made the night unforgettable and allowed them to embrace the new year in a meaningful way.
