During this year's National Day holiday, Huzhou Railway Station saw a significant rise in passenger traffic. From Sept 30 to Oct 6, approximately 185,000 passengers departed from Huzhou, a 10-percent increase compared to the same period last year.

Popular routes included long-distance destinations like Beijing, Guangzhou, Fujian, and Xiamen, as well as shorter trips to Nanjing, Hangzhou, and Ningbo.

The debut of the Hangzhou-Wenzhou High-Speed Railway was a key factor in this surge. The new line introduced direct routes from Huzhou to popular spots such as Hengdian, Pujiang, and the Nanxi River, attracting many tourists keen on exploring these destinations.

Overall, Huzhou's railway network, including stations in Changxing, Deqing, and Anji, reported a total of 307,400 passengers during the National Day holiday, an 8.23-percent increase from the previous year. Huzhou Railway Station alone handled 184,000 arrivals, while Deqing saw 52,700, Changxing 43,900, and Anji 28,100.
