The Hudong sub-district in Huzhou came alive on Feb 21 with a bustling array of activities, marking the lead-up to this year's Lantern Festival, which falls on Feb 24.
The Dasheng residential community spearheaded a diverse lineup of events, including riddle guessing, calligraphy of the Chinese character "福", which symbolizes "happiness" in Chinese culture, and the crafting of tanghulu, a traditional candied fruit on a stick.
This collective revelry, which saw the active participation of Party members, volunteers, and local residents in embracing the spirit of the Lantern Festival, fostered a strong sense of community and shared joy.
