Registration for inaugural Huzhou Marathon begins

The inaugural Huzhou Marathon, scheduled for Dec 3, is now accepting registrations.
This event has been certified as a Class A1 marathon by the Chinese Athletics Association and will feature three categories: the full marathon, the half marathon, and a 6-kilometer fitness run. Limited spots are available for each category, with 2,000, 5,000, and 3,000 participants, respectively.
The race will kick off at the Huzhou Olympic Sports Center and will take participants on a scenic route that includes Huzhou's renowned landmarks such as Renhuang Mountain and the Twin Towers. This one-of-a-kind experience will not only test the athletes' endurance but also allow them to immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere and natural beauty of Huzhou, creating unforgettable memories.
To further enhance the experience, buffet meals showcasing the delectable local cuisine will be available along the route. Runners will have the chance to relish the tantalizing flavors of the city, providing them with a glimpse into Huzhou's rich gastronomic tradition.
The race organizers are committed to implementing strict "zero carbon" principles and actively promoting environmental protection. As part of their efforts, participants will have the opportunity to embark on a carbon-neutral journey by enjoying complimentary rides on new energy buses to the race venue.
