Two towns, Zhili and Jiapu, located in Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, have recently been recognized as textile industrial hubs with an annual output value of over 10 billion yuan ($1.37 billion).

The two locations were respectively ranked first and seventh on the list unveiled by the China National Textile and Apparel Council.

Situated in Huzhou's Wuxing district, Zhili has emerged as a major manufacturing center for children's clothing, boasting 14,000 market entities operating in the sector. With the capacity to produce 1.5 billion articles of children's clothing per year, Zhili has become renowned for its efficiency in transforming designs into physical products, a process that takes a mere three hours.

In 2022 alone, the town recorded a sales volume of over 70 billion yuan, making up two thirds of the domestic market.
