Hangzhou Customs established the "Asian Games Dedicated Window" at the Hangzhou International Airport and its affiliated Qianjiang Customs on July 12, ensuring efficient and smooth customs clearance for imported supplies for the Games.
The Hangzhou International Airport is the largest aviation port in Zhejiang province and serves as the main conduit for Asian Games supplies. The Asian Games Logistics Center is the distribution hub for these supplies.
According to a Hangzhou Customs official, regardless of the shipping channel, be it by air, sea, or land, Asian Games-related goods can complete customs procedures through the integrated clearance model at the dedicated window.
Based on the different requirements of imported supplies, Hangzhou Customs will also provide customs facilitation such as unified guarantee of duties and taxes and fast verification of ATA carnets, ensuring the most efficient customs clearance.
Hangzhou Customs has not only set up a "one-stop" service channel but also formed a customs clearance team, providing 24/7 customs clearance services for Asian Games supplies.
Hangzhou Customs has also established communication and coordination mechanisms with the Organizing Committee of the Asian Games, airlines, and other relevant parties. They have proactively learned about the customs clearance requirements for Asian Games supplies and customized dedicated clearance plans, guidelines, and emergency response plans.
