Anji and Changxing, two counties administered by Huzhou in East China's Zhejiang province, recently made the list of top 10 rural travel destinations in spring released by Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok.

Three of the top 10 places are from Zhejiang. Specifically, Anji crowned the list while Changxing held on to the seventh place. Tongxiang, a county-level city in Jiaxing, took second place.

Anji has in recent years made strides in rural tourism development.

The county is home to a host of rural scenic spots like Yucun village, Anji tea garden, Gaojiatang village, Zhongnan Baicaoyuan, and Skyland.

Located in Tianhuangping town, Anji, Yucun village is known as the cradle of the concept "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets". In December 2021, Yucun was honored as one of the "Best Tourism Villages" in 2021 at the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) General Assembly.

A tourism resort located 1,168 meters above sea level, Skyland has a bevy of facilities such as cliff swings, grass slides and karting tracks that are catered to thrill seekers. One of the must-see attractions is the glass bridge which stretches about 80 meters beyond a cliff.

Meanwhile, rural tourism sites worth visiting in Changxing include Taihu Lake Longemont Paradise, Shiquan village, Chuanbu village, Si'an village and Baifu village.

Taihu Lake Longemont Paradise is a tourist complex consisting of luxury hotels, senior care apartments, an international circus city, a wild animal world, an amusement park, a shopping center, wetland parks, and bar streets.
