The Standing Committee of the Huzhou Municipal People's Congress specially arranged a simulated meeting to reproduce the whole process of voting on major matters in an effort to help foreigners better understand the system.
Cosmin, a Romanian teacher at the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Huzhou Vocational and Technical College, said the meeting scene has given him a more comprehensive understanding of the city's legislature.
In addition, the expats were also invited to experience local traditional culture by making Huzhou ink brushes and rubbings.
