'China in Sight, Global Insight' Forum 2024 opens in Guiyang

The "China in Sight, Global Insight" Forum 2024 was held on Nov 19 in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The forum included over 200 participants from 50 countries, including Pakistan, Malaysia, Singapore, Egypt, Nigeria, Brazil, Peru, Russia, the Czech Republic, the United Kingdom, Italy, the United States, and Australia.

Representatives from political parties, think tanks, businesses, and the media from China and abroad attended the event. They discussed topics such as "high-level opening-up and new opportunities for development", "new quality productive forces and global sustainable development", and "modernization of developing countries and shared global modernization".

The forum also featured specialized dialogues on "China's deepening reform, opening-up, and global win-win cooperation" and "severe challenges and solutions for world peace".

Guizhou, an inland province in Southwest China, has achieved remarkable development through reform and opening-up. Today, it is building comprehensive open channels, deepening international cooperation, and optimizing the environment for high-level openness.

Guizhou strives to create platforms for economic and trade cooperation that promote common prosperity, openness and inclusivity, and exchanges in environmental protection.

International attendees highly praised China's remarkable achievements in reform and opening-up and its significant global contributions. They expressed a desire to strengthen exchanges with China, deepen mutual understanding, and work together to build a better world.
