Guizhou's scenic areas rank among China's top 100

According to an announcement at the 2024 Meadin Cultural Tourism Accommodation Festival held in Suzhou, East China's Jiangsu province, on Nov 14, the Huangguoshu Scenic Area and Qingyan Ancient Town in Southwest China's Guizhou province rank among the top 100 national 5A-level scenic areas in China.

In addition, Xijiang One-thousand-household Miao Village, Zhaoxing Dong Village, Tianhetan Scenic Area and Nanjiang Grand Canyon were listed on the 2024 MBI brand ranking of China's national 4A-level scenic areas.

Qingyan Ancient Town is located in the southern part of Guiyang's Huaxi district, 29 kilometers from the city center and 12 km from Huaxi's urban area. In September 2005, it was designated as part of the second batch of China's historical and cultural famous towns by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-rural Development and the National Cultural Heritage Administration.

Huangguoshu Waterfall in Zhenning Bouyei and Miao autonomous county, Anshun city, has a waterfall height of 77.8 meters and a width of 101 meters. It is a national 5A-level scenic area, boasting beautiful scenery, an excellent environment, fresh air, a pleasant climate, and comprehensive facilities, making it an ideal destination for leisure, sightseeing, and recuperation.
