A freight train carrying 28 Guizhou-made new energy buses departed on Oct 28 from the Guiyang International Land Port in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

This marks the first direct freight train from Guizhou to Laos via the China-Laos Railway and the first export of locally produced new energy buses from Guizhou to Laos.

It would exit through the Mohan Port and was scheduled to reach Vientiane, Laos, in seven days. In addition to the 28 new energy buses that left on Oct 28, another train carrying 27 buses was set to depart on Oct 29.

Guiyang's Zhucheng Customs states that companies can complete customs declaration, inspection, and release procedures locally. In addition, customs has established a special team to serve the China-Laos freight train, offering 24-hour appointment service for customs clearance and helping companies improve clearance efficiency.

Various departments and companies have cooperated to ensure the export of the new energy buses by organizing goods, ensuring transportation capacity, providing transportation services, and clearing customs.
